
Jamie Evans is a writer and freelance editor. She holds a certificate in publishing from the Columbia Publishing Course, and previously worked as the in-house editor for a boutique literary agency. During her time there, Jamie edited manuscripts for the agency’s assisted self-publishing program and reviewed proposals before they were submitted to publishers.
Jamie is currently earning her MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
She has also worked as a copyeditor at Forbes Travel Guide and a copywriter for a marketing agency in Atlanta.
Jamie is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, ACES: The Society for Editing, and the Association of Writers & Writing Programs.
