Jamie Evans is a writer and freelance editor. She holds a certificate in publishing from the Columbia Publishing Course, and previously worked as the in-house editor for a boutique literary agency. During her time there, Jamie edited manuscripts for the agency’s assisted self-publishing program and helped see those manuscripts through to publication.
A detailed and approachable editor, Jamie focuses primarily on YA, romance, and middle grade fiction. Her clients have gone on to both self-publish and sell their novels to publishers. Her services include developmental edits, manuscript evaluations, and copyedits.
Jamie is currently earning her MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts.
